Ayahuasca At Our Retreat Center
Soul Quest Ayahuasca Church of Mother Earth in Orlando offers its church members ceremonial ayahuasca retreats for healing and personal evolution, with one of the most powerful shamanic medicines on the planet and with a professional and psychotherapeutic approach that is reaching thousands of people from all over the world, providing conclusive answers and real solutions to their problems. We have no hierarchy in relationships between medicine man/woman, facilitators, and guests.
We believe we are all on our own unique path of understanding and healing and that we have so much to offer one another in that process. We believe that our way of symbolizing, celebrating and honoring the Spirit embraces all people and transcends all cultural boundaries. As such, we welcome people of all faiths and religions, scientists and doctors, atheists and agnostics, to our ayahuasca retreat center at Soul Quest Ayahuasca Church of Mother Earth.
Ayahuasca Ceremony Overview
Our ayahuasca retreats combine Sacred Ayahuasca Plant Medicine, various workshops, and psychotherapy integration sessions. This work helps facilitate an elevated experience in those seeking personal growth through the evolution of their consciousness. Our retreats are “residential cohabitations” and last in most cases three days and two nights. Ayahuasca ceremonies usually run from Friday to Saturday, with up to three Ayahuasca ceremonies and two integration groups throughout the weekend. Each of our ceremonial areas is assigned facilitators and integration coaches that continuously work with those guests through the weekend. Our church members have access to continued weekly integration groups online following our weekend retreats.
Soul Quest offers two general types of ceremonies: our traditional “Soul Quest” ceremonies, and ceremonies that are held with hosted Shamans that visit throughout the year.
Focus Of Ayahuasca Work
Ayahuasca helps open us up to begin our journeys to the center of ourselves, through ourselves, with ourselves. The transformation began as soon as you registered and continues to unfold up until you consume the sacred sacrament and beyond. This work facilitates the opening of the inner spaces and work in depth on whatever arises; the surprise is the magic that allows what is hidden to spontaneously rise to the surface. Ayahuasca experiences are never “bad.” Ayahuasca is a motherly plant medicine and will guide you always. Though you may not feel ready for what comes up, trust that you are. This medicine teaches us to surrender to life to fully live. “The only way out is through.”
Ayahuasca Facilitators
An ayahuasca facilitator is someone who leads or assists in ayahuasca ceremonies. This person is a trained professional with years of experience working with ayahuasca themselves and guiding others in ceremony. Facilitators create a safe and supportive environment for participants, provide guidance and support during the ceremony, and help participants to integrate their experiences afterward.
Our facilitators at Soul Quest are continuously doing their own work by attending international ceremonies and by conducting private retreats for their own training. The Soul Quest team has facilitators, therapists and collaborators from across the world. Our retreats are guided and supervised by a minimum of 4 facilitators with extensive experience in profound work with ayahuasca.
Our Sacred Ayahuasca Plant Medicine
Ayahuasca is a plant medicine traditionally used by indigenous people in the Amazon rainforest for healing, spiritual, religious, and cultural purposes. Our brew is made from two main plants: the ayahuasca vine (Yellow Banisteriopsis caapi) and the leaves of the chacruna plant (Psychotria viridis). Our medicine is made on-site using a traditional formula, with nothing added or altered, and into a thick consistency. We consider it risky to take equivalent plants or those that have additives intended to enhance its effects. The purity and quality of the ayahuasca Sacred Plant Medicine is very important for the healing processes we offer.
We do not charge for the ayahuasca medicine, but for the work of accompaniment and supervision, for meals and accommodation, and for the translation of the Shamans.
